I have back entrance control of my works website. What code do I use so that a page opens in another window instead of the same page???

In the code when showing a link this will open in same page
HTML Code:
<a href="http://www.talkmaryland.net"> Maryland Forum</a>
this will open a new tab/window
HTML Code:
<a href="http://www.talkmaryland.net" target="_blank"> Maryland Forum</a>
see the target="_blank" that will make it open in a new window

Thanks Chase!
I haven't tried it yet due to it being my day off and didn't want to do anything associated with work today. But I will let you know when I do.

hold down 'FN' key and press one.. Ok, with that said mine does not work.. I can't for the life of me find out how to change that back.. Have no idea how long its been that way but I do know it did work..

Its a Toshiba. But they all work the same as the function key works. The FN key is next to the CTRL, left of the space bar.

Here's the Toshiba site: Toshiba Support - Homepage
Several of the forums out there suggest that you might need a keyboard driver update.
Hope it works for you

I figured it out, in the startup there is a kenotify.exe. read below what it does.
KeNotify Toshiba utility found on their laptops. This program is responsible for the Toshiba LapTop Help 'FlashCards' utility that sits at the top of the screen giving easy access to the 'F keys' alternative functions such as Lock,Power Mode,Sleep etc
I found this all by myself.. I still got it....

Hi Chase!
I have an almost 18month old boy. He loves to touch the keys on the keyboard. Needless to say, I am exhausted trying to keep him away. Is there a key lock feature that I can do so that he can touch the keys on the keyboard and it won't affect the computer when not being used? I don't want to have to shut down the computer constantly. Thanks!!

there are covers you can buy to protect your keyboard, they are usually cheap...OR...if it doesn't affect connectivity to your PC, you could simply unplug it while not in use.
try and talk to him about how the PC is not a toy and if he is around it he won't "hit buttons"
my younger daughter will be 2 in early December and like to sit in my lap when im on the PC and I have taught her to sit and watch, not hit keys (she really wants too though) lol

and lastly
lock keyboard with filterkeys
activate sticky keys by pressing the shift key 5 times. Go to settings and click the radio button 'use filter keys' this locks the keyboard and gives nifty little sounds all except the taskbar button if keyboard has one. easily unlock by double clicking little clock emblem in the bottom right hand corner of screen and deselecting use filter keys. Make sure you hit 'apply'
