You really have to see this movie! the actors are good, the storyline is good, and the special effects are awesome! Another reason to see this movie is because it holds the future of movies and how they're made.
It's just out sold the movie "Titanic" which, by the way, was made by the same person Mr. James Cameron.

Thanks for the review. My aunt also said it was very good, and that I should watch it in 3D. Did you see it in 3D? And if so, how was it?

Sorry to say, I didn't see it in 3-D. we have a very old style theatre here in the boonies and i've heard you have to go to a theatre that has the new digital format. even though, the movie was great!

I am one of those people that hate theaters... I wait for the DVD. It is on my list. Unless, when the drive-in opens in April, they play it.

Me too Summer, but some movies ya just gotta go to the theatre to get the full impact. It's few and far between that we go, but when the movie calls to be watched in the format it was made for, ya just gotta go! The boob tube just doesn't do some movies justice.

I agree with you... this movie has been described as a total experience and has to be enjoyed in the theatre.

67 inch tv, Bose surround sound... May not be theater, but my living room is only 12x16, so it is close. I hate crowds, so it is the best that I can do.

'Avatar' is the most satanic film Mark Driscoll has ever seen
Was "Avatar" satanic?
Mark Driscoll thinks so. In fact, the founder of Seattle's Mars Hill Church told his congregation last Sunday that the highest grossing movie of all time is "the most demonic, satanic film I've ever seen."

For once I wish these people would see these movies for what they are! Can't they go to a movie for the fantasy enjoyment of it, rather then trying to read good, bad or indifferent ideaologies into them.
I loved the movie! it was exciting, full of action and emotion and I didn't leave the theatre with radical ideas.
I think Mark Driscoll needs to open his eyes to all of Gods world, not just his interpitation of it!
