I was working out in Folsom today and had a craving for a cheesesteak and asked around as to where I should go and I was pointed in the direction of Frankie's Steaks located on MacDade Blvd in Milmont Park. There were The Daily Times 2007 Reader Choice Award winner for Best Cheesesteaks so I figured that they can't be all that bad.
I ordered my cheesesteak and within a few moments I was rung up and served. I have to say that the sandwich was a little small and not a lot of meat on the sandwich, which in this economy and the price of food I expect.
When I started eating the sandwich I found that the meat was good and flavorful and I found that I enjoyed the sandwich. I would definately find myself going back there for another one or even trying something else off the menu.
I had a cup of soup for lunch... You guys are making me hungry! I think I will go home and throw a big steak on the grill for dinner. Baked potatoes, fresh steamed veggies and a salad... A little wine to wash it down.

You can't imagine how badly I've missed being able to get a good cheese steak. Well we finally have a place right in my town that's pretty darn close and it's a good sandwich, the right meat, amount of meat, and even the roll ain't bad!
But here's the supprise, it's a chain store and their out of Virginia!
It's called Zero's and I've been going there every week since I was told about them (by a woman from Norristown) and they are great.
You have to try Carsons,,, It's located in Ridley Twp. at the Marina on Swarthmore Ave. There menu has a lot of neat, different items. Desserts are rather expensive. It's BYOB
