Cleaned out half my front flower beds yesterday of leaves and old mulch. Going to work on the rest this afternoon [had two babies all day {2 & 4months} ] so working outside tonight....Got so many things popping up from last year I don't think I will have to plant much....

A few things I noticed.

When filled with potting soil its very heavy.
I only got 3 tomato's and when I picked 2 of them they were rotten, one fell
off and I never found it.

You would have better luck growing in a plastic bucket.
Its the heat from the sun that helps the roots grow better then just in the ground

We have plans of growing some things later on this summer. All sorts of fruits, vegetables, you name it.

I planted onions a few weeks ago and they are growing wonderfully as are my potatoes.

This is my first time growing potatoes and it is an experiment. I'll let you all know how that goes when it is time to harvest them.

Still too early to do the peppers, tomatoes, cukes and more but it is getting really close to that time.
