Yes but if you remember Piccard is talking to Guinan while he is in the nexxus and she tells him something like she exists in both the nexxus and the real world.

Since she was thrown out of the nexxus with Soran when Enterprise B gets damaged by the ribbon but is still in the nexxus at the same time leaves the possibility that Kirk is also still in the nexxus and therefore could be considered alive...sort of.

What I think is anybody reading this might be thinking, WOW, what a bunch of geeks!

I think I remember what you're talking about, and I guess as long and the nexxus is floating around he's sort of still alive.

You're right, anyone reading this would have to think that.

Star Trek is a 2009 science fiction film directed by J.J Abrams Written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman and distributed by Paramount Pictures. While entertaining as a space soap opera, the film dismantles much of what made Star Trek once great.

In what ways Milton? I thought it did a great job preserving classic Trek and creating a whole new Trek at the same time.
