Oh, you can't have just one cat!!!! They are so much more comical when they have someone to get into mischief with!

We always have 2 cats. I think it kind of keeps them out of trouble as they can entertain themselves. Now if i could just talk my wife into 1 more dog. The dog likes the cats the cats don't like the dog. One is coming around will stand around to get sniffed a few times then takes off. The other is starting to come around. We kept them separated with 'pet gates', dog down cats up with access to the basement via pet door. House is now entirely opened up all have free roam, they are quite funny to watch at times.

Cat is scared of the dog, dog is curious about the cat. Coalie [cat] is hiding in my room, we have to carry her out to the kitchen to eat. She is finally starting to come around, but hisses at the dog.

I thought I had a new pup... A black lab/St Bernard mix... He was underfed (10 months old at 70 pounds - should have been about 100 pounds), kept outside more often than not, and yelled at constantly... Was going to take Chico to see how they get along on Saturday... and THEN....
An old guy who's dog died recently said that he would LOVE to take this puppy... But, I was first in line for him. I just can't break the old guy's heart. And, I know him and how much he loved his dog, so... he gets Moose.
I am sure that there will be another wonderful dog out there to rescue.

Puppy is now 7months. She is a trip, everyday is a new adventure with her. She weighs in at 18 lbs and growing. Cat is still afraid of her, but we have days when they seem to get along better. Some days like this one, cat says this is my house, deal with it dog.

i would have thought the cat would be in total control now. It usually does not take very long for a cat

HAHAHAHAHA...they were clean...nothing is safe in this house from her...I have sewed so many things back together, have to check poo for foreign objects, she even got ahold of a few one dollar bills and ate 2 of them...wasn't taping them back together!
Cat does rule the house for the most part, she struts around daring the dog to chase her. Have found that the things Nakoma gets a hold of, Coalie swipes onto the floor for her. I swear, some days I am ready to toss both of them outside.....have also caught the cat teasing the hell out of the dog, lays in front of the dogs cage licking herself, puts her nose a couple inches from the cage door and hisses...so if the dog chases her, its her own fault...band of bitches is what I call them...

This is my absolute favorite shot of her. We were in Tioga Co. camping and it had rained. She doesn't like water at all and hates to go out in the rain...I put her on her leash, turned around and up she went on the cage....it was the cutest thing...

I don't know if I can get this pic to come in, but... There is a woman who's pitt had NINE pups... Their mom and dad are pitt - the mom is a white (red nose) and the dad is a brindle. She wants me to take a couple of them - FREE!
Nope can't get the pic to save as to attach, can't get it to photobucket... SUCKS!!!!

I was going to get one of these pups, but between family and friends, she got rid of them all... I am soooo sad.

The pups are adorable. My friend had two pits (a male and a female). The one litter I helped with the whelping and she had 15 living pups. I couldn't believe that all of them lived. They were the sweetest dogs.
