Port Clinton Peanut Shop

when I was a kid we always stopped there on the way to Grandmas house.
A few years back I noticed that they had closed. Well yesterday we came home that was and to my delight is was reopened. This place is a tiny (blink if you are driving too fast) and you will miss it.
They have all homemade candies, anything you can think of.

I looked for a website but could not find anything. Here is the location

Nup , im curious tho why its called Port Clinton when theres no coastline or water even to speak of.
It shouldnt really surprise me , some of the street and place names never fail to amaze me..theres one called Street road..whats that about , swamp rd , stump rd , where was the imagination..sigh..

The candy store though doesnt look too far away from me , might do a visit , theres one around here somewhere i stumble over sometimes , pass by..i cant remember its name other than it starts with an S ..homemade chocolates and candies..nice wee shop.

Only place I have ever been in Hamburg is Cabela's, gotta love that place...next time we go, I will check it out...

Jake, there is also a Port Matilda, PA with not even a lake in town.....its in the middle of the mountains@!!!!!!

There oughta be a thread for all the whackiest place names in Pa eh Kamma70 ? Theres some real crackers.I think those pilgrims were hitting those peace pipes a little too often.

Can you imagine ..home address , Swamp rd ..just doesnt have that certain ring to it
