Woman Fired Before First Day Of Work Over Facebook Post

THE COLONY, TX--Many people vent online, but a Facebook post cost one Texan her job.

Kaitlyn Walls was excited to find work; however, she was not as excited about her place of employment, which was a daycare center in Texas. Walls says she's a single mother and was trying to get out on her own.

She posted on Facebook, "I start my new job today but I absolutely hate working at a day care. I just really hate being around a lot of kids."

The post spread quickly with many attacking her on Facebook and her employer told her to not bother coming in for her first day.

"I actually cried it really hurt because I wasn't trying to offend anybody ever," said Walls. "It really was a big mistake. I don't hate children I have my own I love her. I was just venting."She also says she'll never post anything like that again. Walls is now searching for work again.

I don't think that too many parents would want their children cared for by someone that "just really hates being around a lot of kids." Can't say that I blame them.
Oskar Schindler was a fucking Nazi.

    Good advice is never popular,
    it is seldom remembered,
    & rarely followed

If you could reason with Liberals there wouldn't be any.

When I posted this, my interest was peaked by the facebook angle.

I know there are a lot of positives, but the negatives are too much for me.

    1. Friend / Un-Friend Anger
    2. Bullying
    3. Gossiping
    4. Privacy Issues
    5. Way TMI (no modesty?)
    6. And screwing the pooch while trying to get a job
