    Next door neighbor problems

Our next door neighbor is a hard working single person.
Gets up early in the morning and takes the dog out for a walk.
The problem is the dog poops on our sidewalk.
Then after work the same thing in almost the same spot, like the dog thinks that itís spot to do itís business.
I go out and give my neighbor tissues and a bag but Iím not home all the time.
I like my neighbor and I have a video of these incidents.
Iím going to show it here and see what you would do in my case.

Well the video is ready to be shown.
My wife said, O! you better not, the neighbors face is shown, you will get in big trouble.
I told my wife, how am I going to get opinions if I can’t show what is happening.
Maybe if I can just get the back side of my neighbor.

Looks like your options are deal with some doggy doo doo or deal with a disgruntled neighbor. If you don't give a "crap" about your relationship with the neighbor, show your video to the local municipality. Most have "pooper scooper" regulations. Then sit back and wait for the "doo doo" to hit the fan.

Politely ask that the neighbor either clean up or find another place for the dog to do its business. If that doesn't work grab a shovel and re-deposit the offending pile in a place where he'll step in it.

Good advice Flash. So glad I live in the country and never worry about close neighbors. Have had neighbors dog crap in my yard and cleaned it up with what my dogs did. Being close to others neighbor needs to show respect.

Wrap it up, drop it off at their door with a note that reads "I believe this belongs to you" and kindly ask them once again to scoop their dog, every time, that it shouldn't be your job to do so. Add a ribbon, too!

Much bigger problem in this area. Driving to work at 4am and liquid manure spreaders out from Kreider Farms. Whole area smells. Why spread manure at 4am? Also wonder how much manure chickens can make. Does Manheim have something to dispose of humane waste or did they hire Kreiders.

Chickens produce a lot of poop and it makes cow manure smell like a freshly bathed baby.

Flash grew up on a farm. Doesn't smell like either. Chicken is more tart then cow.

I would scrub my sidewalk to get the scent off - that may deter the dog from using your sidewalk.
