    Hummelstown officer innocent in shooting......

    A jury finds the officer not guilty and the usual liberal police haters shit their pants. Now they are calling for a civil trial. The question is should a person be immune from a lawsuit if they are aquitted of criminal charges?

    I didn't follow this case all that closely, but I didn't see this one coming. How did they justify this homicide?

    Let's be honest about the nature of many civil trials: one of the functions of our post-modern courts is to serve as a forum for legalized attempted robbery. But no one is talking about tort reform.
