Damn when it rains it pours...Poor Rick, I will be sure to add him to my prayers. What a tremendous sense of loss he must be feeling right now between the death of his father and losing his job.
Tell him to keep his faith and not lose site of his strength. Even people who don't know him are sending their condolences and praying for his strength,
    Hugs to Rick

the bad thing about this is, and I have experienced something like this before is everything happens at once!
I just hope they have family to help and support emotionally, and get to unemployment and any other social service that can be of assistance.I have learned one thing in life, " this too shall pass". and in time it does,my prayers are with them.
    I'll keep my money..my freedom...and my guns...
    you can keep the change.....

Spongebob, that stinks! I'm so sorry. It never ceases to amaze me how someone survives such devastation. You're always in my prayers.

Hey Spongebob...if she wasn't woman enough and loved you enough to sick around when times got tough then you are better off without her. In the long run she will realize that she is the one who lost a good guy and you will get the ultimate satisfaction when that day comes and eventually it will.

I was broken hearted we started going together in 6th grade, but I've been married for 11 yrs to the true love of my life and could not be happier.. She does realize it... Too bad.

Yup, they always realize it too late and that's the ultimate satisfaction. So on the brighter side...when you were down and thought that life couldn't get any worse you meet a new woman who becomes the true love of your life.....Nice ending to a not so nice story.

    Updates

First, thanks to everyone who is praying for Hope and Ace.

Hope had her tests and is STILL awaiting her results due to a lab screw-up. Talk about a woman anxious and waiting for the phone to ring

She still needs your prayers, now more than ever.

Ace is dealing by comforting his family through their loss and has not found a job yet.

Please continue to pray for him too.

I'll keep you updated as soon as I hear anything else. Thanks, Guys

    GROCERY LIST

Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her
face, walked into a grocery store. She approached the owner of the store in a
most humble manner and asked if he would let her charge a few groceries.

She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to
work, they had seven children and they needed food.

John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she
    leave his store at once.

Visualizing the family needs, she said: "Please, sir! I will bring
you the money just as soon as I can."

John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a
    charge account at his store.

Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the
conversation between the two. The customer walked forward and told the grocer
that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family.

The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, "Do you have a grocery
    list?"

Louise replied, "Yes sir." "O.K" he said, "put your grocery list on
the scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that amount in
    groceries."

Louise, hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into
her purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She then
laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still bowed.

The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the
scales went down an d stayed down.

The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and
said begrudgingly, "I can't believe it."

The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on
the other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to put
more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more.

The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the
piece of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement.

It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said:

"Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands."

The grocer gave her the groceries that he had gathered and stood in
    stunned silence.

Louise thanked him and left the store.
The other customer handed a fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and
    said;

"It was worth every penny of it . Only God Knows how much a prayer
    weighs."

THE POWER OF PRAYER: When you receive this, say a pray er. That's
    all you have to do.

Just stop right now, and say a prayer of thanks for your own good
    fortune.
Then please send this to all your friends and relatives.

I believe if you will send this testimony out with prayer in faith,
you will receive what you need God to do in your and your families' life

So dear heart, trust God to heal the sick, provide food for the
hungry, clothes and shelter for those that don't have as we do. Amen & Amen

    Don't break this, please!
Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.

There is no cost but a lot of rewards.

May you always walk with Angels .

    God Bless !
    I'll keep my money..my freedom...and my guns...
    you can keep the change.....

    Re: Prayer Thread

    Morning all:

Hope went to the doctor yesterday to get the results of the CTT test and this test shows no aneurysm. Either you all have an incredible amount of prayer power or something happened with the test. The MRA clearly showed a 2 mm aneurysm and the CTT showed nothing. She was on no medication to make it go away. We still have to see the neurologist but the Doctor yesterday said they will probably wait 3 months then do the tests again. The headaches are not gone but the neurologist will be treating that.
Is it really possible for it to be gone? Yesterday I was really pissed but now that I have thought about it more maybe it was prayed away.

Thank you for all your prayers
