How can I stop people from being able to email my home address?

I received an email to my home address from someone I have no idea who this person was.
Not that anything bad was sent, no virus or anything, but I was not comfortable in knowing that anyone could send me something from this or any site. I would prefer people to just be able to private message me here and not be able to get to my email address.....

Go to User CP on the top left of the screen

Then on the left side tool bar go down to edit options

On that page there is an option for emails and messaging. Uncheck the box that says receive emails from members
