STROUDSBURG — The Quality Inn off Interstate 80 finds itself in the unfortunate spot of being named the No. 5 dirtiest hotel in the country by the online travel site TripAdvisor.com — based on traveler reviews on the site.

Quality Inns I do not stay at at all. I have been in a few and have always thought they were rund down and dirty.

This one sounds like there are mixed reviews on it.

It used to be that Quality Inns were inexpensive, but clean - acceptable... I have heard a lot of bad things about them - lots of things in need of repair/replacement, etc. Pinching pennies does not necessarily bring in the business.

I haven't stayed in a hotel in a long time. I think I would much prefer to camp out.
