Congress today voted to delay the switch from analog to digital from February 17 to June 12.

Does this or will this affect you in any way?

Were you already prepared? Or is this a relief that you have time to make the change?

I am prepared.

I think this is just another case of babying people - we have had PLENTY of time to get ready. With the exception of the government running out of coupons, I don't see why they can't just stay on schedule.... Maybe they are having technical problems and they are using the delay as a cover up....

I've had enough about race/minority issues & 1st black this, 1st black that but this was done because of race...

I agree.if they are gonna do the switch just do it and get it done with, eventually everyone who wants tv will get on board.

One of the channels that I was watching - I think it was a FOX channel said that they are converting on 2/17 - those that are not ready will not be able to view their programming. No babying the procrastinators.

There are several stations across the country that is going to stick with the original date. They have already invested the time and money and by not switching the stations would be wasting as little as 15,000 a month in analog signal fees

I think they have given people enough time to do what they have to do. If people don't want to get cable or buy the converters then they aren't going to do it by June either.

Not ready... people need some sort of converter, what if they couldn't afford it? But whatever... I don't really watch alot of television anyhow. :P

I'm sorry, people should have gotten off their high and gotten it before February. Which was the first original date that they gave the country a whole year to get what they needed. Now they let these people go a few more months cause they just shrugged it off. Well if it was me I would have kept the original date back in February and whoever got their tv shut off then I'm sure they will get off their butts and act on it.
