Actually, it has happened more often than that, and it was in 1866 that it did happen. It happens about every 19 years on average, most recently in 1999. Also, every year without a full moon in February has two blue moons (in January and March).

Full moon-less February recorded years since 1800: 1809, 1847, 1866, 1885, 1915, 1934, 1961, 1999, 2018, 2037, 2067 and 2094.

A common myth is that orange, silver, and purple do not have any words that rhyme with them in the English langage.
