well I couldn't have picked a worse time to launch it

Well my book was launched this month and on the exact day a woman I know launched her book about Lakewood park. She is the president of the historical society, a long time member of the Yahoo site. The Pottsville Republic did a huge article about her book and that was posted in the MC site in yahoo.

The Mahanoy City website in Yahoo has over 2,000 members and I thought when they plugged it in there it would be great. I even sent a email to the staff writer at the paper, press releases to all papers in Schuylkill County. I had this great idea and sent all the Historical Societies in the area a free book and an offer to donate $5.00 to their organizations for each book they sell for me.

I did get an email this morning from the VP of the Save our Station in Tamaqua wanting me to do a book signing at the Station on Nov. 28th and of course I said yes. Not realizing that is Thanksgiving weekend. We both Hate to travel on that weekend.

My luck just sucks I guess I can do it again in a few weeks.

And I did buy her book, it has not come in yet but it's funny, she is donating a portion to the Library in MC and directing all the sales thru there. The first page of my book is the newly renovated Library

you luck will get better, writting a book is a lot of hard work then getting it out there to get people to buy it. but its great to have so many wonderfull writters in the world.
